Body of drowned citizen pulled from Nahr Ibrahim River

The Civil Defense Marine Rescue Team pulled the body of 30-year-old Mohammad Khawli from Nahr Ibrahim River on Sunday.

Khawli went missing 15 days ago while swimming in the river where he was caught in a rip current and drowned accordingly.

The search and rescue operation was a challenge for the team as it had to resort to specialized equipment to pull the trapped body.

The ambulance transferred Khawli's body to the Bouar Public Hospital.
