Sleiman discusses EDL issue with Bassil and Kanaan

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman held talks with Energy Minister Gebran Bassil and MP Ibrahim Kanaan on Thursday. They discussed the issue of EDL contract workers and the related parliamentary decision taken in those regards days earlier.

The discussions also centered on the prospects of providing power to Lebanese areas throughout the tourism season.

Sleiman also met Minister of Justice Shakib Qortbawi whereby he briefed him on the necessity to speed up the judiciary process.
