A number of fishermen in the southern city of Tyre took to their boats and staged a sit-in off al-Alam Square where the demonstrators are holding their movements. They also raised the Lebanese flags.
Tight security measures were imposed in Tyre by the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces, where they deployed in the vicinity of the protest and at the city’s northern entrance.
Citizens continue to flock to the city of Tyre from all the neighboring towns to take part in the movement.
