Introduction to the evening news 13-09-2012

"Innocence of Muslims" film remains the most talked about subject in the region, as protests against the anti-Muslim film did not stop, even with the US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton declaring that the American government "has absolutely nothing to do with the film" and describing it as "disgusting and reprehensible".         

The demonstrations outside the US embassies expose the truth of the relationship between the Arab World and the Western States and reveal the violence of the dictatorships left behind.     

These protests come at a time where the Muslim Brotherhood came to power in several Arab countries, and their relationships with the democratic American government is being tested.       

These anti-Muslim waves and violent activities coincide with the Pope's visit to Lebanon. Pope Benedict XVI will surely have a message for the Christians in the Orient who are witnessing an era of changes.       

Another change appeared today when the US accused Hezbollah and its Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah of supporting Assad's regime and suppressing the anti-regime Syrian revolution.            

This as, Lebanon's stability remains solid until the Pope leaves.        

However, this current stability is accompanied with financial raises.             

The coming back to school season threatens of raising the academic fees and the books prices.          

Another increase also appears in the gasoline prices that reached almost 40,000 LBP.         

The fees that the Lebanese people have to pay became unbearable no matter how hard they work to cover them and no matter how hard the government promises to find new solutions.
