Military Tribunal Judge rejects request to release 8 Mokdad clan members

Military Tribunal Judge Imad al-Zein rejected the request to release 8 members of al-Mokdad Clan. He set October 1st as the date of the next hearing in the case. For now the arrestees will remain in detention.

Al-Mokdad Clan members were arrested for charges of forming an armed organization to carry out acts of terrorism, kidnap people by force of arms, mistreating military personnel and possession of illegal explosives and weapons.
