Rai: The Pope believes the Lebanese can solve their issues

Maronite Patriarch Mar Beshara Boutros Rai who is currently visiting the Vatican met Pope Benedict XVI, accompanied by the Council of Catholic Patriarchs of the Orient delegation .

During the meeting, the Pope thanked the Lebanese for their warm welcome.

Later on, Patriarch Rai reported that the Pope said that the Lebanese people are strong enough to solve any problem and face any peril.
