Lebanon marks Independence Day with a military parade-[VIDEO]
The Army Command held on Monday a symbolic military parade at the Ministry of Defense in Yarzeh on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of independence.
 
The parade was attended by President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Speaker Nabih Berri, Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, Minister of Defense Maurice Selim, Minister of Interior Bassam al-Mawlawi, Chief of Staff of the Army Major General Amin Al-Aram, and military leaders.
 
The military parade kicked off at nine in the morning, soon after the arrival of President Aoun, where the army artillery fired 21 artillery shells to the sound of military melodies.
 
After the military parade ended, President Aoun, Speaker Berri and Prime Minister Mikati left in the presidential car to the Baabda Presidential Palace.
