Body of missing man found with gun wound in Ain Saadeh

The body of Fadi Hashem was found Saturday in Ain Saadeh with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Hashem, born in 1966, went missing on Friday morning. His car and mobile phone were misplaced. The car was found in Ain Saadeh almost seventeen hours after his disappearance, while his body was found some hundred meters away from the highway of the locality with a hunting rifle by his side containing one empty shot.

Preliminary investigations proved the wound sustained to his head was from a hunting rifle, though no reports were made on whether it was from the same weapon found.

Hashem's wife reported earlier on Friday that her residence was ransacked and burglarized shortly after her husband vanished.
