Israeli airstrikes rock Beirut's southern suburbs, casualties climb amid escalating conflict

Late Tuesday, Israel launched an airstrike on Beirut's southern suburbs, sending plumes of smoke rising from the targeted site.

Israel launched multiple airstrikes following an initial explosion, intensifying its assault on Beirut and other areas across Lebanon.

The strike comes amid Israel's intensified month-long assault on Lebanon, which has left 2,546 people dead and 11,862 wounded since the conflict began.
