Berri, Mikati discuss cabinet session outcome

Speaker Nabih Berri met on Friday with Prime Minister Najib Mikati in Ain el-Tineh.

Berri and Mikati tackled the latest developments, mainly the formation of the Elections Supervisory Committee and the mandate's extension of ISF Major General Ashraf Rifi.

Both officials also discussed the security situation in Tripoli and yesterday's referral of the ranks and salaries series to Parliament.

PM Mikati gave no comment following the meeting.

Afterwards, Berri met with Lebanese Army Chief, General Jean Qahwaji, over the fresh security developments in the country.
