Marouni to LBC: Tarshish residents should be vigilant

Kataeb bloc MP Elie Marouni compared the attempt to install power lines in Tarshish to the events of Lessa.

“I urge the residents of Tarshish to be vigilant because of the piracy conducted against the state’s apparatuses as well as public and private properties”, Marouni told Nharkom Said TV show.

Marouni said that the cabinet is protecting neither the Lebanese borders nor the citizen’s dignity, adding that before the cabinet’s session, the Syrian army entered Deir al-Achaeer without any dismay from the Lebanese State.

Speaking on allegations about Hezbollah’s involvement in the disappearance of Syrian citizens, Marouni said that if Hezbollah can acquit itself from these charges, it can also sue those who spread these accusations. Marouni also called on Hezbollah to face justice by resorting to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
