MP Jumblatt meets with a delegation of Brih

National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt held a meeting on Saturday at the Mukhtara Palace with a delegation of the residents in the town of Brih in the presence of Caretaker Minister of Displaced Alaa Eddine Terro, MP Nehme Tohme and the president of the Central Fund for the Displaced Fadi Aramouni.

In this context, Jumblatt also met with the ministry's director general Ahmad Mahmoud who thanked him for exerting efforts in order to reach reconciliation between the town’s residents.

The delegation awarded MP Jumblatt a shield of appreciation, calling for ‘fair compensations’ since “the situation has changed” in Lebanon and “the previous compensations are no longer sufficient”.

For his part, Jumblatt vowed to tackle the aforementioned issue with the concerned authorities.
