Urgent: Israeli army tells residents in Tayr Zibna (Chehabiyeh) and Borj Qalaouiye to evacuate

The Israeli army has issued an urgent warning to residents in southern Lebanon, saying it will soon strike alleged Hezbollah military infrastructure across the region in response to the group’s attempts to rebuild its activities there.

The army specifically warned residents in buildings marked in red on attached maps, as well as neighboring structures, in the following towns: Tayr Zibna (Chehabiyeh) and Borj Qalaouiye.

The statement posted on X by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said residents are in buildings allegedly used by Hezbollah and, for their safety, must evacuate immediately and maintain a distance of at least 500 meters from the structures. 

Remaining in these buildings “puts you at risk,” he added.
