Israeli army says it will prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding border infrastructure despite ceasefire

The Israeli army said it is continuing efforts to ensure Hezbollah cannot restore its military presence along the northern border following the ceasefire agreement.

In a statement posted on X, army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said Hezbollah is “trying to rebuild the border village line under the pretext of repairing civilian homes, while attempting to re-establish headquarters, hideouts, and infrastructure that were previously destroyed.”

He added that the Israeli army “will not allow this and will continue to strictly enforce the cease-fire arrangements so that Hezbollah cannot return to the border.”
