Israeli army claims it killed Hezbollah member rebuilding military infrastructure in South Lebanon

The Israeli military killed a Hezbollah member in southern Lebanon, according to Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee.

In a post on X, Adraee claimed: “The Israel army yesterday struck in the area of Borj Qalaouiye in southern Lebanon and 'eliminated' a Hezbollah member who was attempting to rebuild military infrastructure for the organization in the south.”

He added: “The Israel army also struck yesterday an engineering vehicle used by Hezbollah to rebuild military infrastructure in the area of Blida in southern Lebanon.”

Adraee accused Hezbollah of “continuing its attempts to rebuild terrorist infrastructure, endangering Lebanese civilians and using them as human shields.”

He further stated that “the terrorist activities and attempts to rebuild military infrastructure in southern Lebanon constitute a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”
