Israeli army temporarily suspends strike on Yanouh building

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced that a previously planned strike on a building in Yanouh, southern Lebanon, has been temporarily suspended. Earlier on Saturday, an evacuation warning was issued to residents of the building ahead of the planned attack.

After the warning, the Lebanese army requested access to the site to address the situation and inspect the building.

Adraee said on X that the Israeli army agreed to the request, leading to a temporary freeze of the strike. The site is being continuously monitored.

Adraee added that the Israeli army will not allow Hezbollah to reposition or rearm in the area.
