REPORT: Protesters burn Hezbollah flag outside Tripoli's Chamber of Commerce

Protesters staged a sit-in on Sunday outside the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli in protest of the visit of an Iranian delegation presided by the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi.

In this context, the Lebanese Armed Forces rushed to the scene and paved the way for the delegation to leave the building.

On the other hand, the State-run National News Agency reported that the Iranian ambassador accompanied with his delegation had already left the building by the time the protest began, adding that the demonstrators told  the Treasurer of the Chamber, Tawfik Dabbousi, that they were against Iran's support of the Syrian regime.

For his part, Dabbousi stressed that the visit was set to discuss the means to sell the agricultural production.

The protesters then burnt a Hezbollah flag outside the Chamber's entrance.
