Israeli army claims it struck Hezbollah-linked financial assets and weapons depots across Lebanon

The Israeli army said it carried out multiple waves of airstrikes targeting infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and several areas in southern Lebanon.

In a post on X, Israeli army Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the strikes in Beirut targeted additional assets belonging to Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association as well as what he described as key economic resources linked to Hezbollah.

According to the Israeli military, the strikes were aimed at intensifying pressure on Hezbollah’s financial network, which it accused of using civilian funds to provide financial services supporting the group’s activities.

Adraee said the attacks were part of a broader series of recent strikes targeting the association, adding that the latest operations had halted its activity entirely and dealt a significant blow to Hezbollah’s resources.

The Israeli army also said it struck around 10 weapons depots belonging to Hezbollah in the Bekaa Valley and other areas in southern Lebanon. Some of the depots were located in the area between the Litani River and the Zahrani River, from where rockets were launched toward Israeli territory last Wednesday, according to the statement.

Adraee added that the Israeli military would continue operating against Hezbollah, accusing the group of joining the conflict under the backing of Iran, and said the army would not allow harm to Israeli citizens.
