PM Salam congratulates Iraq’s PM-designate, stresses strengthening bilateral ties

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam called Iraq’s Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi to congratulate him on his appointment and wished him success in forming a new government that meets the Iraqi people’s aspirations for security, stability and prosperity.

During the call, both sides stressed the importance of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation on issues of mutual interest in a way that serves the shared interests of both countries and their peoples.
