From Vivatech to policy talks: PM Salam discusses Lebanon’s priorities in Paris

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said he accompanied French President Emmanuel Macron on a tour of the Vivatech exhibition, according to a post he shared on X.

He added that he later took part in a meeting attended by France’s Foreign Minister, during which discussions focused on the outcomes of G7 deliberations with Arab leaders regarding the regional situation, with particular attention to Lebanon.

Salam said the talks also addressed the implications of the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran.

According to his post, participants agreed on the need to create suitable conditions for holding conferences in support of the Lebanese Armed Forces and security services, as well as for reconstruction efforts in Lebanon.
