MP Aoun says countries that armed the Syrians should aid the wounded

Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday that the issue of establishing Syrian refugee camps has been discussed, adding that the European Union Ambassador to Lebanon Angelina Eichhorst assured that "Lebanon is incapable of aiding refugees who have become a quarter of its population".

Following the bloc's weekly meeting, MP Aoun said that "wounded Syrians should leave back to their country after obtaining the necessary treatment;" adding that "countries that armed the Syrians should bear their responsibilities and aid the injured people".

On another note, MP Aoun said that "the legal session at the Constitutional Council was transformed into a political session", thus rejecting making any preliminary comments on the decision of this Council.

"The Constitutional Council has to fulfill its duties; either it accepts the appeal or it rejects it," MP Aoun said.

MP Aoun expressed his hope that the Constitutional Council holds a session at the soonest time possible since "impeding the work of this council is indeed dangerous."
