Netanyahu: Gaza war is far from over and to continue for a long time

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Monday that the war in Gaza is far from over, refuting what he described as incorrect media speculations that his government might call for a cessation of hostilities against the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) in the Strip.

Netanyahu told MPs from his Likud party, "We are not stopping. We continue to fight and will intensify the fighting in the coming days. The fighting will take a long time and is not close to the end."
