UNRWA official reports escalating conflict in Khan Younis, Gaza

Director of UNRWA Affairs, Thomas White, revealed on Wednesday that fighting is escalating in Khan Younis, in Gaza.

He affirmed that a UNRWA Training Centre sheltering thousands of displaced people was targeted, reporting "buildings ablaze and mass casualties."

Thomas White affirmed that safe access to and from the center has been denied for two days, leaving people "trapped."
