Israeli army confirms soldiers injured inside Lebanese territory

The Israeli army confirmed Monday that a number of its soldiers were injured inside Lebanese territory after announcing earlier that four of them were injured in an explosion that occurred overnight "in the northern border area."

An army spokesperson told Agence France-Presse, "It is certain that the incident occurred inside Lebanon." 

Earlier on Monday, Hezbollah announced that it detonated explosive devices against Israeli soldiers after they crossed the border into Lebanese territory.
