Iran and Pakistan urge the UN Security Council to take action against Israel

Iran and Pakistan on Wednesday called on the United Nations Security Council to take action against Israel, stating that it targeted neighboring countries and foreign diplomatic facilities 'illegally.'

The statements accusing Israel of 'extreme escalation in an already volatile region' were part of a joint statement issued by Pakistan's Foreign Ministry after a three-day visit from Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
