REPORT: Major incidents marked STL's work over nine years

Nine years has passed since the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri in 2005 in an explosion that shook Beirut, leaving 22 people dead.

The Lebanese opposition back then accused the Lebanese and Syrian authorities of being behind the assassination, and called on the Syrian forces to withdraw from the Lebanese territories and to launch an international investigation in the incident.

Since the attack and up until the start of the trial in January 16th 2014, several major incidents marked the work of the tribunal.
