REPORT: Pope Francis makes cover for Rolling Stone

After being named “Person of the Year” by Time’s magazine, Pope Francis has become the first pontiff to grace the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

Rock stars, models and actors have been making regular appearances on the front page ever since the magazine was founded in 1967.

Dressed in a white robe and smiling at the camera, the 77-year-old is the latest person to feature on the cover, with an accompanying article titled, "The times they are a-changin".

He was named Time magazine's "Person of the Year" and now a graffiti of a 'Super Pope' has sprouted up near the Vatican. The white caped crusader appeared on Tuesday on a wall just off Borgo Pio, a tiny cobble-stoned street near St. Peter's Square.
