REPORT: Nawaf Hussein involved in transporting explosive-laden vehicles into Lebanon

Sources told LBCI on Sunday that the Lebanese Armed Forces Intelligence bureau arrested suspect Nawaf Hussein after Omar al-Atrash confessed that he was involved in transporting explosive-laden vehicles used in attacks carried out in several Lebanese regions.

The Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested Omar al-Atrash Friday January 24, on charges of being involved in recruiting suicide bombers, smuggling rigged cars and explosive belts and planning terrorist attacks. On Sunday 25 January, al-Atrash confessed to bringing car bombs, explosive belts and suicide bombers to Lebanon.
