REPORT: STL spokesman Martin Youssef resigns
The spokesman for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) Martin Youssef announced on Tuesday his resignation and thanked reporters for giving him a chance to defend his "convictions".

The work of the tribunal is ongoing, Youssef said, adding that he will be heading to Canada in the few next weeks in order to establish his own firm.

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon was set up by the United Nations at the Lebanese government's request to try the alleged perpetrators of the 2005 bombing in which former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and 21 others were killed.
