REPORT: Islamic State attempts to acquire air weapons

The Islamic State militant group is undoubtedly willing to acquire air weapons and is seemingly trying to achieve this goal away from the media spotlight.

A militant from the Islamic State carried out a suicide attack near the T-4 airport, located in Homs and regarded as one of the most important military airports in Syria.

Despite the fact that the group failed to enter the airport, its control over the Shaer oilfield made it 25 kilometers away from the location.
