REPORT: Military expert defuses explosives found on Majdlaya-Zgharta road

A military expert defused on Wednesday morning explosives found on a road in the Zgharta district in northern Lebanon.

The explosives were discovered by General Security Intelligence Bureau officers on the road of Majdlaya that is located between the northern city of Tripoli and the town of Zgharta.

Security forces and the army cordoned off the area, blocked the roads while the expert defused the explosives.

The road was later reopened.

This as military sources told LBCI that the explosives weighed around 10 kilograms.
