Head of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt delivered a speech on Sunday on the one-year anniversary of killing of the Progressive Socialist Party official Sami Marroush, where he stressed that “he has confidence in the state and its apparatuses,” noting that the party is still waiting the results of the investigation launched in order to reveal the circumstances of the murder.
During a ceremony held in Chouf, Jumblatt said that Marroush used to help him find the appropriate solutions to serve the citizen in the best way, pointing out that he had a creative, calm yet firm personality.
“I lived with Marroush and others the big Arab dream, which is being now smashed into pieces,” he added.
