REPORT: Will Defense Minister extend term of Intelligence Chief Edmond Fadel?

Minister of Defense Samir Moqbel said on Wednesday that he would extend the mandate of Lebanese Army Intelligence chief Brigadier General Edmond Fadel despite disapproval of several political leaders.

Fadel’s mandate is due to expire on March 20.
