Explosions heard in Bahrain capital: AFP journalist

Several blasts were heard in Bahrain's capital of Manama on Thursday, according to an AFP journalist, as Iran presses its aerial campaign against Gulf states.

Two missiles were seen being intercepted in the sky and a number of explosions rocked the city after warning sirens sounded. Tehran has targeted Bahrain and other neighbouring countries in retaliatory strikes following U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran beginning 28 February.
