REPORT: Five activists released, but charges against them remain

Five civil society activists, who were arrested during last week’s protest, were released from custody on Thursday but the charges against them remain.

This comes after the activists’ defense attorneys submitted release forms to the Military Court earlier.

Meanwhile, activists and relatives continued their sit-in outside the said court demanding that charges be dropped.
