A Parliament Bureau meeting kicked off Tuesday in Ain al-Tineh.

Following the meeting, Deputy Speaker Farid Makari announced that the agenda of the upcoming legislative session includes new governmental plans that need to be examined.

He indicated that the Parliament’s Bureau will hold a meeting next week, pointing out that the draft law that was presented by the Lebanese Forces and the Free Patriotic Movement and which calls for restoring citizenship rights to expats was approved.

For his part, MP Antoine Zahra reiterated the insistence of the LF on raising the electoral law as a first item on the agenda of any session.
