REPORT: Speaker Berri says Aoun-Frangieh agreement is best solution for presidential vacuum

Speaker Nabih Berri stressed on Wednesday the necessity to end the presidential vacuum in Lebanon.

“The best scenario to resolve the presidential vacuum is an agreement between Change and Reform bloc chief MP Michel Aoun and Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh.”

Berri’s remarks were made during his weekly meeting with MPs at Ain el-Tineh.

Berri also urged the Lebanese people to take advantage of the current circumstances in the country and resolve their own problems.
