PROFILE: Hatem Madi, State Prosecutor

On Wednesday 10th of October 2012, Judge Hatem Madi was appointed by Cabinet as State Prosecutor.

Judge Madi was born on the 10th of June 1945 and was appointed in various judicial positions.

Among those positions were, Chief of the Supreme Council for the trial of presidents and ministers, Chief of the acting court of Cassation.

In 2001 Judge Madi was appointed as the Investigative Judge of Beirut and stayed in this position until 2005 whereby he played a prominent role in the case of the bankruptcy of the al-Madina Bank.
