REPORT: Several dead and missing in Rafah's smuggling tunnels

Following the fierce storm that hit the Middle East region, the Rafah smuggling tunnels were flooded and collapsed which caused the death of a number of workers while several others were reported missing.

The family of Bassam Khodr who is among the missing people, is still waiting for his return.

In this context, the brother of the victim said that poverty is the sole reason behind the working of these men in the tunnels.

For her part, Khodr's wife accused the government of not fulfilling its duties and held it accountable for the incident.
