REPORT: Halba mourns martyr First Sergeant Ibrahim Zahraman

Residents of Halba – Akkar mourned the Lebanese Army martyr First Sergeant Ibrahim Zahraman who was killed when unidentified gunmen attacked an army patrol in the border town of Arsal on Friday.

The coffin carrying the sergeant’s body was wrapped with a Lebanese flag and arrived on Saturday to his hometown where his relatives and companions gathered to say their last goodbyes.

Meanwhile in Achrafieh, Lebanese citizens lit candles in Sassine Square to show their solidarity with the Lebanese army and express their regret for the loss of Captain Pierre Bachaalany and First Sergeant Zahraman.
