Lawsuit filed in US over Beirut Port explosion
A US company that is being sued for compensation by those affected by the Beirut port explosion, which killed over 200 people, has denied any responsibility for the disaster.
 
The US-Norwegian-based TGS Group for Geophysical Services said it was aware of the lawsuit filed against it in a Texas court by nine people, all Americans, but said it had not yet been formally informed of the complaint.
     
"We deny the validity of all allegations included in the lawsuit and intend to vigorously defend this matter in court," said a statement issued by TGS on Wednesday night.
