North Korean generals may go to Russia frontline: Seoul intelligence to lawmaker

High-ranking North Korean generals may go to the Russian frontline with Ukraine as Pyongyang ramps up military cooperation with Moscow, a South Korean lawmaker said Tuesday, citing intelligence from Seoul's spy agency.

"The National Intelligence Service is looking into the possibility that some high ranking military generals could move to frontline areas," said lawmaker Lee Seong-kweun after a briefing from NIS, according to a transcript obtained by AFP.
