Kremlin says Trump envoy Witkoff arrived in Russia: State media

The Kremlin said Friday that Steve Witkoff, U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy, was visiting Russia, state media reported.

"Yes, I can confirm he flew to Russia," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told state media reporters when asked about reports Witkoff had landed in the country for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding that Moscow would "inform" later if a meeting between the two takes place.
