Siniora congratulates Morsi, says Egypt must go back to playing its role

Future bloc leader Fouad Siniora sent a letter to new Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi on Wednesday congratulating him for his election.

In the letter, Siniora said that this important democratic event will be a pioneering model for the Arab Spring’s uprisings, especially to those countries that are still fighting for their freedom, dignity and active participation in forming their future.

Siniora said that Egypt must go back to playing its central and vital role in the Arab world and the region.
