Mansour: Sticking to government position

Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour upheld the current government’s position of neutrality vis-a-vis regional and domestic developments.

Addressing media representatives upon his departure to attend the Doha Conference of Arab Foreign ministers over events in Syria today, Mansour reiterated the strict neutrality of Mikati’s government but sounded more focused on Palestinian Authority President Abbass's awaited report about the situation in the occupied territories in light of the Arab Peace Initiative.

Over the fate of the 11 Lebanese still held in Syrian captivity, Mansour aspired for a happy ending to the affair especially that Turkey spared no effort to obtain their speedy release.
