Netanyahu: Hamas prevents Gaza deal, Israel has not changed conditions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Hamas is preventing an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza, and that Israel has not changed any of its conditions.

He added that Israel remains committed to the principles of the original proposal, which include the release of as many hostages as possible who are still alive, Israeli control over the border corridor between Gaza and Egypt, and preventing weapons and Palestinian militants from returning to the northern Gaza Strip.
