Caretaker Energy Minister Gebran Bassil said Saturday that all the parties should build upon the remarks made by former PM Saad Hariri on Friday, stressing that a cabinet cannot be formed based on the logic of isolation of any party.
“No ministerial statement should be considered as sacred,” he added.
During a ceremony held to lay the foundation stone of an electricity company in Beirut Southern Suburb, Bassil said that the collection rate of electricity bills in the region of Dahiyeh ranges between 95 and 98%.
In this context, member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Ammar said that “terrorism encourages hatred and extremism,” calling on all the Lebanese people to seek unity in order to hasten the formation of a new cabinet capable of facing all challenges.
