Minister Abou Faour to LBCI: I have confidence in Saad Hariri’s help overcome ministerial statement issue

Health Minister Wael Abou Faour stressed Sunday that the contacts concerning the ministerial statement are ongoing, adding that the discussions are not blocked, but need further political deliberations.

In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Abou Faour noted that he has confidence in former PM Saad Hariri, who had an important role in the cabinet formation, calling on him to help solving the issue of the ministerial statement by seeking agreement with all March 14 forces.

On another note, the minister hoped that there will not be any escalatory response to the statement of President Michel Sleiman, in order not to further complicate the work of the ministerial statement drafting committee.
