March 14 forces said in their statement that those claiming to aid the Palestinian people by firing rockets from Lebanon towards Israel are threatening Lebanon's security and shaking the pillars of resolution 1701."
The forces added in the statement that only political support and peaceful solidarity positions may help the Palestinian people.
Israel says that more than 940 rockets have been launched by the Hamas movement and other factions from Gaza over the past week.
Israel has not suffered fatalities since border hostilities intensified last Tuesday, due in part to the success of its Iron Dome rocket interceptors, but the salvoes have disrupted life in major cities, paralyzed vulnerable southern towns and triggered Israeli mobilization of troops for a possible Gaza invasion if the Palestinian rockets persisted.
In contrast, the Gaza Health Ministry said at least 166 Palestinians - among them about 138 civilians, including 30 children - have died during six days of warfare, and more than 1,000 wounded.
