Hizb Al-Tahrir protests in support of Syrian revolution
Hizb Al-Tahrir organized a "liberation" sit in front of Aisha Bakkar mosque after Friday prayers, in support of the Syrian people and the revolution. The protestors carried Islamic flags and chanted slogans in support of the revolution.

Abdul Latif Daouk, a member of the party’s media office said that the revolution in Syria is not based on sectarianism but is a genuine call for freedom. He went on to warn of the impending dangers of sectarian war, whether in Syria or in Lebanon.

In Tripoli, Hizb Al-Tahrir also organized a sit-in in solidarity with the Syrian Revolution, and demanded the departure of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The protestors began their rally from Mansouri Mosque after Friday prayers, ending it at the center of Tripoli.
